Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cubic Lab collects and uses personal data through cubiclab.net, customer communications, orders, and quote requests. Cubic Lab is responsible for the processing described here. This policy is intended to provide the information required by Lebanon’s Electronic Transactions and Personal Data Law No. 81/2018.

1. Data we collect

We may collect your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, delivery address, contact preference, account and authentication information, cart and order details, selected product options, customer notes, quote descriptions, dimensions, budgets, deadlines, uploaded design or reference files, correspondence, and delivery status. We also receive limited technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, security events, timestamps, and server logs.

2. How data is collected

You provide data when you create or use an account, contact us, place an order, request a quote, upload a file, or communicate by email, phone, or WhatsApp. Essential technical data is generated when your browser connects to the site. We may also receive delivery updates from a courier or information from someone placing an order on your behalf.

3. Why we use it

We use personal data to provide quotations; validate, produce, deliver, and support orders; communicate about production and delivery; manage accounts and password resets; prevent duplicate, fraudulent, or abusive submissions; protect the website; keep required business records; handle complaints and legal claims; and improve our products and operations. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Required and optional information

Fields marked as required are needed to respond to a request or perform the order. If required contact, delivery, or specification information is not provided, we may be unable to quote, accept, produce, or deliver the order. Optional notes, email fields, color preferences, budgets, and files help us respond more accurately but may be omitted where the form permits.

5. Payments

The current checkout supports Cash on Delivery and Cash on Pickup. We do not collect or store payment-card numbers through this website. Order records may include the selected payment method, amount, currency, and payment or fulfilment status.

6. Service providers and recipients

We disclose only data needed for providers to perform services for us. These may include our hosting and database infrastructure, Cloudflare for network security and anti-abuse services, Resend for transactional email, and delivery partners for fulfilment. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, or disputes. Providers may process data outside Lebanon under their own contractual, security, and privacy obligations.

7. Uploaded files

Files submitted for quotes or custom production are private working materials. We use them to assess feasibility, prepare the quote, manufacture an accepted project, provide support, and handle a requested reprint. Do not upload unnecessary personal data or files you are not authorized to share. Access is limited to people and systems that need the files for those purposes.

8. Retention

We retain order, invoice, fulfilment, and complaint records for the period reasonably required by accounting, tax, warranty, dispute, and other legal obligations. Quote information and unsuccessful quote files are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Production files may be kept for support or reprints unless you request deletion and no legal obligation or unresolved claim requires retention. Expired sessions, security logs, and operational backups are deleted or overwritten on a rotating schedule.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted database exposure, private storage for customer uploads, strong authentication controls, backups, and network protections intended to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

10. Cookies and browser storage

The site uses essential cookies or browser storage for login sessions, security, cart contents, and display preferences. Cloudflare may process limited device, network, and challenge information to protect forms and the site from automated abuse. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing profiles.

11. Your rights

Subject to Law No. 81/2018, you may ask whether we process your personal data, request access to it, and ask us to correct, complete, update, or erase information that is inaccurate, expired, unlawfully processed, or incompatible with its purpose. You may object to certain processing where the law permits. We may retain information needed to perform a contract, meet a legal obligation, prevent fraud, or establish or defend a legal claim. We may request reasonable proof of identity before responding.

12. Children

This service is not directed to children. A person who is not legally able to enter a purchase contract should use the site only with a parent or legal guardian. Please contact us if you believe a child submitted personal data without appropriate authorization.

13. Policy changes

We may update this policy when our practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The current version and its updated date will be published on this page. Material changes apply from publication and do not reduce rights already provided by applicable law.

14. Contact and privacy requests

For questions or requests to access, correct, update, or erase personal data, email [email protected] or contact us by WhatsApp at +961 81 696 225. Use the subject “Privacy request” and describe what you need. We will respond after reasonably verifying your identity and the scope of the request.
